NEW IDENTITY FOR THE NEW SEP METROLOGY VOLUME

SEP Métrologie has been active in the manufacturing sector for almost 15 years as a service company specializing in the calibration of dimensional measuring and testing instruments. Its reputation is well established. SEP Métrologie has become the reference in the manufacturing industry. What was its identity?

This year, SEP Métrologie acquired ISO1725 accreditation. This new acquisition gives it the official status of a calibration and analysis laboratory. With this vision in mind, SEP’s founders, Éric Rainville and Isabelle Faucher, decided to modernize their corporate image.

AN IDENTITY THAT GUARANTEES THE NOTORIETY OF SEP METROLOGY

As certifications multiplied, the laboratory wanted a new brand image and corporate literature. They then called upon Esprits Libres Design. Thus, Esprits Libres Design created a complete range of communication tools around this new identity: new logo, busiines cards, beach flag banner, promotional cardboard and website.

This new branding reminds the colors of the previous logos, i.e. white, blue and orange. However, these colors are more frank. A second blue is added to have a deeper rendering.

The new logo is modern, dynamic and includes graphic reminders of units of measurement. These fundamental elements of the company can be felt through the E and the M.

The business card gives a rejuvenated and highly stylized look while respecting the visual identity of the laboratory. Always attentive to customer service, it displays the metallic “SEP” to refer to manufacturers working in the metallurgical field. Moreover, since the company is better known under the name “SEP”, it was important that these letters be highlighted.

Thus, the website is ergonomic, modern and adapted to all digital tools (computer, tablet, smart phone). Fin

ally, the logos of the certifications are highlighted to confirm the expertise to the 

customers who asked for it every week.
